Meet The Team

Heidi was born in San Jose, California, and grew up in Gilroy. After graduating from South Medford High School, she moved to Portland, Oregon, where she started her career as an office manager. She has been working with Dr. Dutton since early 2016. She takes great pride in helping her doctors and the team feel appreciated and happy and genuinely looks forward to coming to work each day.

When asked what she loves most about working here, she said, “I have simply never worked for someone like Dr. Dutton. I watch her pour her love, guidance and support into each of us on a daily basis and it truly blows my mind. She is the single most intelligent and driven woman I have ever encountered, and it is my privilege to help build this practice alongside her and Dr. Cohen.”

Heidi, her husband, Sean, and their daughter live up in the tall pines of the North State. She and her husband are avid golfers and love the sunshine that allows them to be on the course. When they are not golfing, they spend most of their time working on their yard and remodeling their home. She also loves music and attending concerts with her daughter and is a devout football fan!

We feel incredibly fortunate to have Heidi leading our team.

Katie is a terrific hygienist and her ultra soft, sweet voice will practically lull you to sleep while she is cleaning your teeth.

Katie graduated from the Shasta College Dental Hygiene program in 2011. She always knew that she wanted a career that allowed her to help people. As a hygienist she gets to develop relationships that give her the opportunity to assist patients in achieving a greater level of dental health which, in turn, elevates their overall health. She loves spending time with her husband, two beautiful daughters and their dogs at their home in Redding.

Carolina is the newest member of our Dental family. She was raised in Orland CA and loves living in a small down and being part of the community. NorCal gives her opportunities for both.

She speaks fluent Spanish!

She attended Shasta College and is the Winner of the GOLDEN SCALER award for her class. This award is given to ONE STUDENT by the Faculty in recognition of her outstanding clinical skills and profession judgement! We are so proud to say she chose our practice as her home.

She loves spending time with her family, spontaneous weekend trips, and hanging out with her friends to go to the gym or going to do any fun outdoor activity that they think of.

She says her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is meeting new people every day, connecting with them, and then sharing information that can lead them to better health and a happier life. Carolina understands that dental anxiety is very real and that her compassion in this area can be a life changer for them. We are so glad she is here with us.

Amber was born in Oakland and moved to the Igo/Ono area as a very young girl.  She graduated from Anderson High School and began her career in dentistry not long after. She loves being a Fire Chief’s wife and enjoys spending time with her kids and her two labrador retrievers.  Amber and her husband absolutely love volunteering their time for anything the Stoke Foundation may need. They love the outdoors and having a nice BBQ with friends.

Amber joined our team in 2023 and we were immediately impressed and elated. She has over 10 years of dental experience and even more importantly is one of those people that was perfectly made to be the face and voice that you first see and hear when you step inside of our office. She is always bubbly and ready to greet you with a smile and a kind word. Heidi had been praying for just the right person to join her in the front office and Amber is most definitely it. Together they make a dynamic duo in our front office!

Megan joined us in 2022 to fulfill her “externship” for her dental assisting program. Realizing her integrity, intellect and genuine kindness, we snatched her up for a permanent position in our office. Megan is assisting Dr. Dutton now and is honing her assisting skills each day.

She is a lifetime NorCal resident who enjoys fishing, horseback riding and playing music on her violin.

Megan is a huge light of kindness and joy in our office and we are honored to have her.

Brittany was born and raised in the Redding area. After graduating high school, Brittany became the momma to a beautiful baby boy named Bryson. She then went to school to become a dental assistant. She has been one for over six years and is passionate about dentistry.

Brittany, her husband and their three amazing children live in Cottonwood. As a family, they love fishing, hunting, camping and anything to do with the outdoors.

Brittany’s natural kindness and commitment to patient care fit right in with our team and we are so pleased she chose our dental family as her home.

We are proud to welcome Mya as a bright new addition to our team. You’ll often see her hustling around in the background, making sure each operatory is stocked, all the instruments are sterilized and organized and especially making sure that each provider has just exactly what they need in order to make each procedure go as smooth as silk. We are honored that she chose our office to continue her career. She is currently enrolled in the Dental Assisting Program and is moving up quickly.

She grew up here in Redding, attended Redding Christian School and after Highschool Graduation Mya was part of Youth With A Mission. She spent time doing mission work in the Dominican Republic. She loves spending time with her family and her friends. Enjoys running and baking.
